Why I Started Individualroams

Updated: Sep 1

People often ask why I travel so much. On the surface, the answer is simple: my work takes me on the road. But the deeper story is what led me to create IndividualRoams.

Travel has been more than a job requirement—it’s become the lens through which I’ve learned about myself, about individuality, and about how perspective changes when you leave your comfort zone.

From Routine to Roaming

When I first started traveling for work, it didn’t feel like a choice. Airports, hotels, dealerships, and constant schedules quickly became my normal. At times, it was exhausting. At others, it was eye-opening.

I realized that in between the chaos of flights and meetings, I was being given something rare: perspective. Each new city showed me a different side of life, and every long night on the road taught me something about who I was becoming.

That’s when I started sharing—first quietly, then more intentionally. I wanted to show that travel, even for work, could be more than just movement. It could be growth.

The Core of IndividualRoams

The name IndividualRoams came from a simple belief: individuality is worth protecting. Too often, people chase trends, compare themselves, or hide what makes them different. Travel taught me that individuality is the one thing you always take with you.

IndividualRoams isn’t just about destinations—it’s about celebrating unique journeys. Whether it’s an Airbnb in Costa Rica, a quick food stop in California, or a moment of reflection in a hotel lobby, every experience is part of a bigger story of individuality.

What I Hope to Build

Through this brand, my mission is to share the reality of travel: the beauty, the challenges, the lessons, and the laughter that come with it.

I want IndividualRoams to be:

  • A space for authentic stories from the road.

  • A place where individuality is celebrated.

  • A hub for tips, guides, and insights that make travel more meaningful.

This isn’t about showing off perfect travel photos—it’s about showing the moments in between, the ones that make the journey real.

Final Reflection

I started IndividualRoams because travel changed me, and I believe it can change others too. Not just in the places you go, but in the way you see yourself.

If you’ve ever felt like your individuality doesn’t fit the mold, this space is for you. Because no matter where you roam, your individuality is the one thing that makes the journey yours.

That’s the heartbeat of IndividualRoams. Thanks for being here at the start of it.
